TALENT SHOW AND CULTURE WEEK

Students and Teachers at Florin Tech!          April, 2010.
The Student Council is organizing an activity for springtime.   The activity is a combination of Culture Week, Talent Show, and a Potluck. The activities will start on May 12th, 2010.
This is the program for May:
WEDNESDAY 12TH, CULTURAL EXPOSITION.
Display of the traditions of your country: Traditional clothes, arts, crafts, pictures, paints, etc. This event will take place in the big room upstairs at 10:00 a.m.
THURSDAY 13TH, TALENT SHOW.
Show about the habilities you have like: Singing, dancing, playing an instrument, painting, acting, etc. This event will take place in the patio close to room M-1 at 10:00 a.m.
FRIDAY 14TH, BIG POTLUCK.
Everyone will bring food to share.  Examples: Salad, fruit, any entree, dessert, sodas, etc. Food will be set up in the cafeteria at 10:00 a.m.
We would really like you to participate in these wonderful activities. We need people with the desire to show their talents and culture to other students. This is an excellent opportunity to feel proud of your cultural heritage showing it to others.  Besides you will have a great time and fun.  So get   organized with your class and prepare an exposition about your wonderful culture.
If you want to participate in any event, just tell your teacher and she/he will put you on a list. Thank you so much for your interest and participation in this activities.
Rocio Alarcon. Student Council President.
