Hello readers,

My name is Quan Dao, I'm from Vietnam.

When I studied at Vietnam, my teacher said: “You can good at Math, Chemistry, Physical … but if you don't understand what people say, you will become a robot”. That’s why I’m studying English.

The first my teacher is Margo who teaches at P5-Classroom. She is very kind to everyone. She's a good teacher and I'm very fond of her.

And now, my teacher is Casandra who always smiles, friendly and teaches me at M1-Classroom.

I'm very happy to participate in this interesting blog. Let me tell you something about myself!

One of my hobbies is listening instrumental music. Sometimes, I send my favorite's songs to my friends.

I don't know what is the most value with you?... But with me, that is knowledge.

In my free time, I usually go online on Internet or go to library near my home just to find a satisfactory knowledge. I find many interesting thing of the life in each websites and books.

I know I'm a lucky boy. I have a cozy family with the intimate persons, who always take care of me, shelter me, encourage me...And above all, I know that they love me as much as I love them.

  ... and I have a teacher who teaches at M3-Classroom. He is a good man. He  likes to work on computer as me. He knows a lot of IT. We (Students) can't spell s_ccess without "u", thank Bruce.

Hint: The day of the week you travel can make a big difference. Traveling on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Saturday, is much cheaper than traveling on Sunday, Monday or Friday, when most people want to fly.

Hint #2: Not all airlines are on the web search sites. Discount airlines like Southwest, Virgin Atlantic, and Aerlingus don't pay to have their sites put on the search engines. Do a Google search like "discount airlines _________ (name of city" such as discount airline Hong Kong.

 Hint #3- The best price may not be online. Travel agencies that specialize in the region of the world you want  to go to may have access to discount tickets and hotel deals. Search online and then call a  travel agency and see which price is better.

Hint # 4- Prices change all of the time. If you see a price you want, it may not be there tomorrow.

Hint # 5- Select a flight or hotel and go far enough to see what the taxes and fees are so you can compare prices. Some sites list the total price on the top page but others make you choose the flight/hotel/car/cruise before they show you the total cost.

About a week ago, I downloaded and installed QQ. What ix QQ? QQ is a messenger program like MSN Messenger, Skype, or Yahoo Messenger. What is different about QQ? Almost all of the people use QQ are Chinese. I installed QQ because I thought it would help me learn more Chinese since almost everyone else who uses QQ is Chinese. I sent an e-mail to my Chinese friends after I installed QQ and I soon started receiving notices from friends that I had added them. One surprising thing about QQ is that some things are easier to do in QQ than in other programs. For example, if you want to send a picture of something that you can see on your computer, like a program you are working with, you can choose to copy it and just paste it into the window. Some friends share music with me by just sending a daily link.

Some things I don't like about QQ is that sometimes my whole keyboard freezes and I can't type anything. I need to restart my computer when that happens.  A couple of times my computer has just crashed.  QQ is the only program I have had that happen with since I started using Windows XP.

If you have QQ, my QQ number is 1094442675. Oh, in QQ, everyone has a number and not a name. That is another difficult thing about the programs. If you can't read people's Chinese names in Chinese characters (hanzi), you don't always know you are talking with. I think I have 35 friends in QQ, but I am only sure of about 12 of their names.

I have learned a little more Chinese since installing QQ, but most of the time, I just chat in English. I think it will help me learn Chinese, though, because my friends aer helping me more since I got QQ.

CHRISTMAS STORY

Once upon a time there was a little boy, named Jason, this little boy used to lived with her father, his mom died a year ago on Christmas time; this was a terrible time for Jason and for the father too.

When this time of the year comming Jason feels sad, he don't want to remember the time when his mother dies.

One day he was watching a little bird on his bedroom window and the little bird won't flue  away, he was surprised because this bird has a lot of white and blue feathers.  Jason never saw a bird like this, he feels that this bird was special in someway,  but he don't know why.

His father was a farmer named Tom,  he allways woke up at 5:30 in the morning,  he start  the day given food to the chickens, the pigs, the cows and the sheeps too. He used to work all day long, he allways finished his day too tired and all he wants to do is to get rest on the end of the day.  His son help him with the house cores.  They lived alone in a farm with all the animals and his memories.
